Date Night in Navy + Black

Location: Balboa Park, San Diego Art Museum

Weather: Crisp & Chilly-ish evening

Outfit of the Day: For a night out on the town surrounded by groovy people, amazing works of art, grand architecture, music and friends – leather and sequins made sense. I’m rotating this navy faux leather pencil skirt from Zara on a weekly basis. I can’t get enough of it. I’m a huge navy blue fan especially for fall/winter. I paired my skirt with a DVF silk navy camisole, Zara sequined jacket and Christian Louboutin heels.

Style Savvy: Navy is a great alternative to wear black for date nights, a night out with the girls or dinner. Up the chic factor mixing navy with black and go for an almost monochromatic look. Add a conversation piece with a vibrant printed jacket/blazer or interesting heels. Remember, if you’re outfit makes you smile before you walk out the door, then you’ll radiate for the rest of your night. Confidence and a killer smile is a winning combo!
