Outfit Purpose: Casual Day
Style Savvy: Today is about being mellow, which means dressing easy. I can wear this outfit around the house (sans the boots), working at my desk and running errands. Shirt dresses are versatile. I can easily transform my Zara dress for the office or a more polished look by adding a sleek black patent leather belt, tailored blazer and pumps. Today for a casual approach, I paired a braided leather belt and my suede ShoeMint boots. For jewelry I mixed a few vintage and new pieces including resin leopard hoop earrings and classic Timex watch.
Personal Style: Boho Chic
Thoughts: I’m still stuck on judgement. I don’t know why I can’t shake this. I guess I’m blown away how many people can give their opinion or judgement without walking in someone’s shoes or experience. Do you really know what goes on behind the scenes of someone’s life or work they do? Unless you’re doing the same exact thing, then yes you have facts to back up your opinions. I’m just tired of reading on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram comments and status updates blasting things when I know that person blasting said item has no merit to do so. I might be PMSing, hence the sensitivity. Regardless, of PMS or not, let’s try to be more compassionate and also have a sense of humor. It’s sad when people can’t laugh and find the funny in things.
