Style Savvy: Since feeling anew with my emotional purge, I’m in the mood for Spring! Pulled out some attire from last spring to match my smile and sunlight of the spirit I’m feeling. My floral pencil skirt works year-after-year because it has 3 classic elements happening 1) it’s a pencil skirt! 2) shades of blues, pinks and yellows 3) floral print inspired by oriental paintings from the far east. I chose to pull the yellow from the print in my skirt to match my top. And ruffles done right…never go out of style.
Personal Style: Spring Chic
What’s Going On: I need to get some sleep. That’s all I’ve got. Okay, I’ll give you something more. I’m in full acceptance mode about my life overall. I have had times of acceptance throughout this challenge but this time it was a bigger message, a bigger fear to face. My spirit, my soul feel lighter. I feel happy. I have a constant smile on my face because it’s coming from the light inside. It feels good. Why do I put myself through so much torture and pain before I can let go and feel better? As people I believe we strive to do things to feel better and overall we want to feel good in general, right? Who wants to feel like shit all the time? Well, I do it to myself because of the old tapes that play in my head. At least I’m a work in progress and willing. I’m excited again for the unknown and to see how my story unfolds.
