What’s Going On: I’ve been avoiding all things Coachella for many years because I wasn’t really into the actual music fest part of it. Over the past 3 years, fashion brands have recognized that they can jump on the Coachella bandwagon and head west to create their own events. This year there were so many designer brand parties, I had no clue what to expect. Instead of overwhelming myself with a full weekend, I just made a day/night of it. I was pretty impressed. Quite the swanky desert setup and not to mention…all the free merchandise! I LOVE that especially because I can’t shop! The music, food, drinks, gourmet sno-cones, activities, etc. done just right by Old Navy, PopSugar and Forever 21. It wouldn’t have been the same if my style cohort Dean wasn’t kicking it with me. He’s basically a male version of myself (wink).
