Style Savvy: I’ve mentioned this numerous times but I can’t get enough maxi dresses, especially since I live in Southern California. There are so many fabulous maxis with fabulous prints, details and cuts that it makes dressing effortless for the summer seasons. For chillier nights wear a coverup/jacket, either white, blue or army green denim. Also try something with an interesting print. Don’t just go for your standard cardigan sweater. You know the one I’m speaking of.

What’s Going On: I’ve been on chill mode all day. Caught up on emails and paperwork, had a few phone chats with my girlfriends and now off to dinner with my beau.
One of my girlfriends keeps me updated on astrology and since today is Friday the 13th which most of us typically think is bad luck, it’s actually not. Friday the 13th is a special goddess day. Friday is named for Frigga, the Nordic Venus, and there are thirteen Moon cycles in a year. That’s probably why the patriarchal powers thought it an unlucky, witchy day. Who knew?
