DAY 351: Shop My Closet Pink & Blue

Weather: Sunny, warm, breezy

Outfit Purpose: Sunday Funday

Style Savvy: I don’t know why but I unknowingly matched my shirt to my fingernail polish and pants to my toenail polish. I was feeling partly girly, partly boyish donning these two solid colors today. When wearing oversized or flowy tops, make sure whatever you pair for bottoms is slender and not fussy. Otherwise you’ll look schlumpy and we can’t have that.

Personal Style: Street Style

What’s Going On: I’m not usually a “weekend” person because my work/schedule happens on any day, whenever there’s work. But today really felt like a weekend of quality time with my love. I’m melting into my man and our relationship as it progresses. It’s because he allows me to be me, makes me feel safe, cherished, and loved. In turn I’m open, vulnerable, loving, giving, and affectionate. I posted a photo of me and my beau on my Instagram and someone commented, “So far this is the best look I’ve seen on you.” I agree.
