Style Savvy: This week I’m featuring the monochromatic trend and today’s color is emerald green. Deeper jeweled tones are great colors for the fall and winter seasons. Shades of green like Kelly, Army, Emerald, Mint and Chartreuse are must haves in your wardrobe so be sure to invest in a few staple items in these colors that you can wear year-after-year. I recently received these Paige Marley jeans as one my birthday gifts which I paired with this Zara top. Accessories are the finishing touch and can make or break an outfit. I added some yellow gold jewelry along with my Banana Republic cabochon earrings (greens and blues), vintage classic Timex watch and my quirky clutch from Kate Spade. ** You can shop this look, see at the bottom of this post.

What’s Going On: Feeling sluggish today hence the hair bun and sunnies to cover my eyes. Unfortunately, I was blessed with bad allergies and a mild case of asthma, both striking in the middle of night. AND I was so excited to start my work week off with guns blazing but the universe had another idea for me. I did manage to get to my computer and catch up on a few items at least and get this blog post done. If you follow me through social media like Instagram, Twitter, etc. I’m super active on those two the most and respond to your comments more quickly. Another update, I do write other articles on this website, so make sure to check the home page. I’ve got a few beauty stories coming up. I know I usually put something more thoughtful or spiritual here but I’m on allergy pills and asthma inhaler, so that side of my brain isn’t functioning tonight. Thanks for reading!!
