I had the pleasure of hosting another amazing event for Macy’s at Fashion Valley in San Diego for their American Icons weekend. This is the 4th year that Macy’s has partnered up with “Got Your 6” (i.e., got your back) campaign which benefits military veterans and their families. It’s a win-win, give a little and save while shopping. All fashions featured on models for the event are a kick-off to Memorial Day weekend and the start of summer.
Festivals keep growing and new one’s are popping up every year, meaning it’s time to get your festival style on-point.
I shared style tips for festival themes such as Boho “a la Coachella”, Country “a la Stagecoach”, EDM (electronic dance music) and Latin style inspo. Make accessories one of your style bff’s. Accessories will almost ALWAYS translate into most trends. For this summer, try adding a suede belt, sued shoe or bag, something denim and layered necklaces. Big earrings are also on trend this year, pick up something dangly and colorful.
