I love seeing all the great prints and fabrics being used this year especially for pants and jeans. I’ve been rocking the prints as much as possible. I’m loving the modern version of a woman’s trouser and cigarette pant. In this outfit I’m wearing a pant by Zara that has a subtle jacquard print. While on the phone this morning with my sis browsing simultaneously through LOFT.com (she was asking my opinion on a few of their new pieces) I came across their rustic jacquard ankle pant (picture below). My sister said it reminds her of curtains. I actually like a little curtain effect … for now at least. I’m sure in a few years I might say, “What the hey?!” I think this pattern-slash-pant combo is very chic especially if you style it with the right top and shoes. The button up shirt I’m wearing has a chiffon and silk material block which hangs the way a shirt should on a woman. Savvy Style tip: I tucked in just the back portion of my shirt, giving me a polished but not stuffy look. This tucked in effect also gives my body some shape.
