Postcards from Pendry Hotel San Diego

Sometimes you need to getaway for a couple of days but can’t swing traveling somewhere far. That’s what staycations are for. Since my fiancĂ© and I aren’t traveling for the holidays, we picked Pendry Hotel in San Diego to recharge. This hotel has everything, so you literally don’t have to leave. This is what it’s all about for me when getting away for a couple of days.

If you’re road tripping it to downtown San Diego, definitely set aside a budget to park with valet. It’s a bit pricey but worth it. There are parking garages nearby but it’s such a hassle and who wants hassles when you’re only doing a mini getaway? Other tips while staying at Pendry SD, make reservations for dinner in advanced at Lionfish or Provisional if you’re booking a weekend stay. Also, don’t miss out on a treatment at Spa Pendry located on the 3rd floor of the hotel. It’s a life changer, especially if you have the 90-minute Indigo Sea restorative massage. Make sure to book an appointment with the spa in advanced too.

While we were staying here at the beginning of Thanksgiving week, I decided to put together a few holiday outfit ideas for you ladies as well. These are a bit edgier than my everyday style. The thought of being downtown inspired my looks and brought out the funky, playful side of me. I hope you enjoy my postcards from my staycation at Pendry Hotel San Diego.
