Spring Trends: Florals, the Cold-Shoulder and White Denim Skirt

Hello Dolls, happy May 1st! April showers (LOL, no showers here in SoCal) bring May flowers and Spring trends that incorporate the lovely blooms sprouting all over. I always love sharing how you can maximize your purchases especially when adding seasonal trends to your wardrobe and this one today is ultra savvy.

Cold-shoulder tops are hanging around through summer, so invest in one that has florals, eyelet or chambray to keep on-trend. Denim skirts (see HERE) have made an amazing comeback with updated cuts and styles. Try one in white for a fresh take on this trend. There are various lengths available, pick one that suits your taste and body height. I’ve paired a “shootie” which is a shoe-slash-bootie to my outfit, giving it a Street-meets-Festival flair.

Other savvy style options for this top and denim skirt combo:

For an evening/date night look I would pair a suede moto jacket, small crossbody bag and an amazing high heel.

For a daytime/weekend look I would pair lightweight bomber jacket, basket weave handbag and flat sandals or espadrilles.

Have fun with these trends and don’t be afraid to try clothing pieces on you may think don’t look good on you. You might be surprised, I surprise myself all the time when I do this.

In other news…I have a limited collection of T-SHIRTS coming out in the middle of May. There are three different t-shirt shapes that fit all shapes and sizes with FUN sayings/expressions. Want to know when they’ll be available before anybody else? CLICK HERE

I’m Wearing | Top and Skirt from Cotton On, Uno de 50 festival collection jewelry, Dolce Vita shootie (similar HERE, HERE, HERE, and HERE).

* This post is in partnership with Fashion Valley a Simon Mall and participating stores. Thank you Cotton On and Uno de 50. All opinions expressed and styling are of my own.

  1. Thanks Emily, I’ve been wearing this top with everything … jeans, shorts, skirts. It’s kind of my go-to top at the moment.
