Although I could live everyday in my Paige Denim skyline ankle peg jeans (see here, here and here), I do occasionally have to dress more “business-y” for client meetings. My inspiration for this outfit started with the blazer by Elmer Ave. I love how they incorporated a very subtle sunburst pattern on the front of this blazer with navy blue and black. Since I’ve been watching The Carrie Diaries, trying to relive all my Sex and the City moments again, I decided to pull together an outfit reminiscent of Ms. Bradshaw. I even broke out my Manolo Blahnik Mary Jane heels! Savvy Style Tip: you don’t have to match your handbag to your shoes – another alternative is to match other accessories (e.g. jewelry, belt, hat, etc.) that are in the same color family as your bag.
