Sustainable Yellow Elegance

Do you know what tencel fabric is? Many designers are using sustainable and recycled materials to create their chic and stylish pieces and if you look closely to the info tag inside, you’ll probably see unfamiliar fabric names, hence tencel { definition here }. One of my fave shops in Brentwood Country MartĀ features anĀ eco-conscious label Jesse Kamm. She creates pieces that are timeless with clean lines and classic shapes.

Kamm’s line is 100% hand crafted in California and 60-70% of the fabrics used in the production of the line are dead stock and remnants. Approximately 50% of their remnants are recycled and repurposed into other products and textiles are hand printed using non-toxic inks. Jesse is also the cofounder of Punta Carenero, an off-the-grid, sustainable community located in Bocas del Toro, Panama. Now that’s one savvy and sustainable designer.
