We are finally getting some rain in Southern California and I’m loving it! Today’s outfit is all about mixing the old with the new in my dark denim wide legged jeans I’ve owned for years and my Sam Edelman (similar HERE) black suede ankle boots. The reason why I can still wear these two items today is because they are classic staples. What does that mean? Meaning the cut and wash of my denim jeans are timeless because they don’t have any crazy stitching, logos, prints or embellishments. Same goes with my ankle boots a classic lace up with a semi-rounded toe.
Mixing in the “new” with my AZUL by Moussy ombré grey sweater, a cozy plaid scarf (gift from a friend) and my silver & crystal Timex watch. I added a touch of color with my Laura Geller Love Me Dew lip crayon in Plum Freeze (my latest lip obsession). I’m still shopping my closet but adding a few new pieces each season. It’s all about being savvy with style and shopping.
