5 Ways 5 Days of Outfits from Winter to Spring

Spring is just a couple of weeks away and I can’t wait! I find the weeks leading up to Spring are the most challenging to style looks for the week. Below I show you how to mix and match winter/spring pieces together.

This is where layering and utilizing lighter weight knits come in handy. I suggest digging in your closet and drawers and seeing what you’ve forgotten about.

I’ve taken 4 pieces and repurposed them to create 5 full looks for transitioning to Springtime. Are you liking these restyling features? Leave me a note below or say “hello” to me on Instagram @savvynista.

5 outfits for a week

Look #1 – I paired my old Puma zip up with these Derek Lam cropped flared pants for a sporty look. Then added my white ankle boots I’ve had for the past year from Target to finish my look.

Look #2 – For a cozier outfit, I paired the same Derek Lam pants with a Joie sweater and Hutch faux fur coat. This full look except vintage box bag and Zara pumps is from Rent The Runway. BTW my bag has a tortoise shell handle which is one of Spring’s trends, see POST HERE.

5 looks for a week with 4 pieces

Look #3 – Restyling these blue pants with a lightweight Aritizia cashmere sweater, Zara beret and bag (bought Dec. 2018) and Uterque shoes. Uterque is one of my favorite brands from Spain but unfortunately doesn’t ship to US. I bought these shoes 2 years ago at an actual Uterque store in Barcelona.

Restyling 4 pieces for 5 outfits

Look #4 – Styled the same Aritzia sweater in Look 3 with a long pleated maxi skirt by Caara (available on Rent The Runway), vintage box bag in Look 2 and laced kitten heel by Christian Louboutin circa 2007.

Look #5 – Took the Caara maxi skirt from Look 4 and paired with Joie sweater from Look 2, Michael Kors puffer jacket I’ve owned for many years and sneakers from The Shoe Box (2-3 years old).
