If you’re not on Instagram, then you’re probably not hip to these themed experiential popup spaces being curated around the world. These “museums” are being created for people to interact IRL within a visually artistic environment. Not to mention they make great photos to share.
The most notable of this type of well-designed and crafted museums is the Museum of Ice Cream. It’s become so popular, now they have four locations in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Miami and New York.
Museum of Ice Cream believes in creating beautiful and shareable environments that foster IRL interaction and URL connections. They provide fun, multi-sensorial expressions of ice cream that cater to the appetites of our generation.
I believe this philosophy resonates with most of these types of themed spaces. That’s why you see them popping up everywhere sans the ice cream part.
Recently I played, toured, shot snaps at the Museum of What in Encinitas, California. Local to where I reside in San Diego. Their theme is the Love Tour which opened on Feb. 14 and goes until April 15. You still have one month to visit.
Museum of What Love Tour is a non-traditional popup museum featuring an array of blissful exhibits that inspires you to live, laugh and love. There’s over 20 picture perfect exhibits appropriate for all ages. Captivating displays, thoughtful presentations, and a modern twist on entertainment.
On April 5th I’ll be attending a party for another museum Wonder World in Hollywood inspired by Alice in Wonderland. Follow me on Instagram @savvynista to get a sneak peek of this one.
