Style Savvy: Tropical resort wear made easy with one simple maxi dress. This Kaya di Koko handkerchief style dress has many interesting details so you don’t have to think about pairing pieces or accessorizing too much. From the print to the cut at the bottom and the tie in the back, this is the perfect dress to look chic yet still be comfy while on an island for vacation. I paired my rose gold studded Vince Camuto flip flops to up the style factor instead of going with my regular rubber slaps.

What’s Going On: I really didn’t want to write this blog post tonight. I feel like it’s affecting my personal life a little but I’ve committed to a year of this, thank goodness I’m almost half way through. Today I had a magazine interview for Shopping My Closet 365 Days Challenge here on the island. The journalist was sweet, cute and had great questions. I love “turning the table” and asking the interviewer questions too. It’s fascinating for me to find out what his/her story is. I try not to make it all about me, even when it supposed to be. Feeling well rested today. Last night was the first night I was completely konked out. How I know this? I talk in my sleep a tinsy bit when I’m dead tired. I was informed of my sleep chatter this morning by my bed buddy. Oh well. I’m here for another day and half then back to San Diego. Like I said in yesterday’s post HERE, I’ve learned more about who I am on this trip and continue to surprise myself.
