Outfit Purpose: Out & About
Style Savvy: Pulling out some oldies from my closet and having fun creating a timeless boho chic outfit. I paired my black silk SINGLE dress with a brown military jacket with metal buttons (stylish detail), Steve Madden boots, felt hat, a mix of fringe/beaded necklaces and leather/metal arm swag. Accessories can make or break an outfit. If I didn’t have the right accessories (hat, necklaces, boots) this would be a very sad outfit.
Personal Style: Boho Chic
What’s Going On: Today is prep day before my TV news style segment early in the morning. I felt horrible today and trying to rally all day and tonight to get things done. I always get nervous the night before I go on TV too, especially doing live segments. A wise person said tonight, “Nervous is good. It means you actually care about doing well. You have a natural charisma that can’t be stopped. Let it flow.” Just the words of encouragement I needed before I go off to sleep. XO!
