Outfit Purpose: Weekend Warrior
Style Savvy: Since the temp is in the low 60’s here in Southern Cali, it’s hard to layer up. Although at night it can get pretty chilly. Today is the FIRST day of How to Wear a Flared/Skater Skirt 5 Different Ways. I’m using my combo leather/cotton stretch skirt by SINGLE as the piece that I’m styling five different ways. This skirt is super versatile and I can literally wear it all week long. For this look I paired a cable knit oversized sweater by NEUW Denim, belted at the waist to define shape and added my Marc Jacobs ankle boots. Because my outfit is pretty much an all dark palette, I broke it up with a few stand out baubles like my Love Tatum knowledge tree druzy clover necklace, Sorrelli earrings, Anne Klein watch.

What’s Going On: I felt like I really had a weekend which is unusual. Now I’m getting the “oh crap, tomorrow is Monday” bug. That means I have to get into the work frame of mind again. This week and next weekend is going to be non-stop. I have every night booked too. Aye carumba! It’s feast or famine in my world but I’m use to it. I wish I could have someone write my blog for me. This will be tricky trying to figure out when I’m going to write.
Aside from that, I have more clarity with certain personal matters in my life and a better perspective/outlook. Like I mentioned yesterday (HERE), I’ve discarded some emotional baggage and it’s opening me up to other possibilities and opportunities. I’m excited to see what my next chapter is all about!
