Style Savvy: My home office is cozy and warm on this cloudy day, hence my outfit of the day. I needed to catch up on my book writing so for stylish comfort I paired my silk Equipment button up shirt with my white denim American Eagle Outfitters shorts and Vince Camuto rose gold studded flip flops. To feel fancy whilst writing, I put on a few overly stated baubles – my crystal panther chain necklace, crystal panther ring and vintage Chanel ring. Why not?
Personal Style: Casual Home Office Chic
What’s Going On: Since I’m catching up on my first 7 chapters of my book writing and editing, I’ve been revisiting and reflecting on my beginning months of this Shop My Closet Challenge and what my life looked like then compared to now. There has been a lot of amazing changes and growth. The only two things that remain the same are where I live and my finances. I’d like to see these two items shift in a big way when this challenge comes to an end. I also realized that I’ve been living in San Diego for 9 months now. WTH?! That’s bananas! It seems time has flown by but also dragged on during my painful days and weeks of heartbreak, grieve, anger, sadness and loneliness. This challenge and new adventure in life has taught me, what doesn’t kill me makes me stronger. I know so cliché but it’s true.
