Mood: Exhausted
Weather: Sunny, breezy
Outfit Purpose: Running Errands
Style Savvy: You can look chic and be comfy while running errands without putting in much effort. Pre-style at least 2 to 3 outfits for running errands that way you don’t get lazy and reach for your yoga/gym clothes. Unless of course one of your errands is working out (wink). I’m all about white denim in various cuts. I’ve owned these wide-legged Anlo jeans for at least 8 years. It’s a classic cut that I literally wear year-after-year. The trick to keeping your white jeans “white” is to wash them after 1 or 2 wears maximum and use a non-bleach laundry brightener like White Bright or Oxy Clean.
Personal Style: Classic-n-Chic
What’s Going On: I feel like I’ve been on the wash and spin cycle for the past 9 months and I’m exhausted. Putting my cat Jewel down over the weekend didn’t help either. I’m not looking for sympathy. I’ve made some conscious choices that kept me in the wash cycle. I admit it. It feels like I’m learning to walk in stilettos all over again. Metaphor for learning to live life single and in a new city. I’m still practicing but at times I try to rush the process. That’s when I catch myself in the spin mode. I think I’ve had enough washing and spinning, time to lay myself out flat to dry.
