Outfit Purpose: Fourth of July Outings
Style Savvy: Although I’m wearing another easy, effortless yet chic summer short dress by Kaya di Koko, I did a little print and color pairing. Both my dress and Sam Edelman wedges have a Moroccan vibe but I like contrasting colors so that fabric textures and patterns pop off the skin, especially with a summer glow.

What’s Going On: A little roller coaster of moods today. I’m deep in reflection because I only have TWO days left of this year long challenge. I keep thinking back to Day 2 and where I was at in my life. It’s the fourth of July and I spent the day with my hot man. I had a party in La Jolla to pop by, most of the people I knew were my cast mates of the reality show The Romance (hasn’t aired yet) and some other people I’ve met while living here. It’s really cool that everyone has been counting down the days with me for this challenge and they are all super excited for me.
The rest of my evening my beau took me sightseeing through La Jolla Shores and then we stopped at the Estancia Hotel to peruse the grounds and restaurant. What a beautiful and romantic place. I’d love to stay there for a couple of days to decompress. A view of the sunset off the coastline in Encinitas put me into the mellow state. What a perfect 4th of July.
