Mood: Still Exhausted but Enlightened

Outfit Purpose: Out & About
Style Savvy: It’s just chilly enough to wear these J. Crew high waisted wool pants paired with my LaRok top (worn on Day 8 HERE) and Gucci sandals. The trend I keep seeing on the runways and fashion editorials is high waisted full skirts or pants paired with a short top or sweater. I don’t own too many high waisted pieces or cropped sweaters/tops so this was as close as I could get to the trend I’m loving right now. I’ve mentioned this many times before, I love yellow gold against black. It pops especially with accessories and jewelry, hence the panther ring, Love Tatum Labradorite stone cuff and ring (stone of intuition) and my nifty iPhone Pursecase™.
Personal Style: Parisian Chic
Thoughts: Today has been filled with a lot of enlightening moments from new genuine friendships, giving and receiving time for meaningful conversations and receiving clarity on a few things. Although I’m still extremely exhausted, I’m into action from morning until night. I was able to catch a short disco nap today but had dreams that I woke up when it was dark and missed my window to shoot my outfit of the day! That was a nightmare. This Shop My Closet column is now entering my dreams. It’s important to me that’s why it’s on my mind. I don’t want to let myself down nor you who are reading this or doing the challenge with me.
I’m realizing I need to find a part-time intern soon because it’s my schedule is getting a little tricky. We’ll see how this develops. For now daydreaming of my break to a magical destination coming up in 10 more days! I already have my outfits planned too but not my accessories, that’s on my to do list. Thanks for reading!
