Mood: Motivated
Weather: Weird … partly rainy, partly sunny, partly cloudy
Outfit Purpose: Stylist at Work / Out & About
Style Savvy: This outfit was something I threw together in a hurry. These are some of my “go to” pieces that I can always count on, so they are always visible for easy accessibility in my closet. I typically gravitate towards t-shirts that have detail from a different cut, graphic or texture, like this metallic/mesh grey one. It adds a little somethin’ somethin’ when pairing with my Zara black jeans. Tailored blazers will polish a street style or “casual” outfit. My fave blazers are by Elmer Ave. in their Doll Fit (like the one I’m wearing in this outfit).
Let’s talk accessories … my suede boots are by Christian Dior that I bought years ago at the Beverly Center Dior store 1/2 off. It was the only pair left and happened to be my size. I couldn’t say no. The jewelry pairing I have going on is a mix of silver and gold metal with either gemstone or resin accents. Why I used yellow gold with an outfit that screams silver? Because my outfit falls under the “cold” color palette (black, grey, blue) and I wanted to warm it up because I’m not tan right now, so any warm color helps liven up the skin tone a little.

Personal Style: Urban Chic
Thoughts: Everyone has an opinion about something. Heck I have opinions too. Do I voice them all the time? Not so much unless I really think it’s going to make a difference otherwise I’m wasting my breath/energy and probably causing controversy that’s going to make me feel like crap afterwards. I might even have to make an amends to someone or a group of people depending on the level of opinions shared or expressed. To me, and I’m not saying “everyone” … when I have a strong opinion about something, it’s usually because I’m being super judgemental. It might also be a reflection of something I don’t like within myself. So is it worth it?
