Mood: Spirited
Weather: Extremely Windy, partial rain, tropical (Sunset Beach, Hawaii)
Outfit Purpose: Vacay / Out & About
Style Savvy: I think one of the reasons why I tend to vacation in tropical beachy locales is because of the resortwear I get to don. Island style ensembles tend to be lightweight, easy to pack, colorful and cheery which automatically puts me in a spirited mood. I discovered a newish line Kaya di Koko at the beginning of this year and really love the mix of prints and colors along with flattering easy-wearing dress styles. Today I slipped on my palm tree maxi dress a few simple pieces of jewelry and my Guiseppe Zanotti jeweled sandals I’ve had forever.
Personal Style: Island Style
What’s Going On: Yesterday and today the weather and the ocean has been ominous. Windy, rainy, cloudy “with a chance of meatballs” (wink), a smidgen of sun here and there. Looks like I won’t be getting a golden brown tan whilst in Hawaii. That’s okay because I am looking forward to a radio interview on Hawaii’s Public Radio tomorrow morning talking about my challenge and what inspired it. I’ll be in studio for the the interview which means waking up with the roosters and driving into town (about an hour, yikes). After my radio segment, I’m going to do a bit of networking with some boutiques and hotels. I always love meeting new people and talking about future work collaborations. P.S. I’ll be posting my radio segment on my Youtube channel HERE, so subscribe to my channel to get notified when it’s uploaded.
