Outfit Purpose: Work Day
Style Savvy: I’ve got a little layering happening with today’s outfit. This Banana Republic wrap dress (reminiscent of a DVF wrap dress) was heavy enough in fabric to put a thin silk fitted top underneath to add a little more detail and make this plunging neckline appropriate for a day at the office. Edging up my look with Sam Edelman ankle boots paired with knee high socks scrunched down.
Personal Style: Office Chic
Thoughts: True girlfriends who really know me and get me, make my world a better place. I finally got a chance to talk to a couple of my bff’s on the phone today, one this morning and one tonight. What a perfect way to start and end my day. I swear these ladies rock and have a way of saying things that completely shift my perception. A few nuggets from my gals – “God’s rejection is his protection” “When you find the right person you’ll know it” (this one I shared to my friend awhile ago, my own words repeated back to me) and “You’re being fierce and courageous by being vulnerable.” YES, YES and YES! Ironic how Katy Perry’s song “Roar” keeps playing in my head, guess it’s my anthem for the day. Ciao for now! Thanks for reading!
