Style Savvy: Today’s outfit combines many elements that I love … black, leather, lace, utility, glitter and some arm swag. You’ve seen me wear my SINGLE leather/stretch flared skirt numerous times now (HERE, HERE and HERE) but today I paired my skirt with a Suzanne Lay strapless lace detailed body suit, Punk Royal utility jacket, DIY glitter Converse All-Stars (video HERE) and Spiritual Gangster cap to keep the sun out of my face.
Personal Style: Spiritually Street
Thoughts: Staying in the moment so I can keep it real for today. Sometimes I like to daydream or drift off to fantasy land but that can lead me into emotional turmoil depending on the dream or fantasy. I’ve been verbally sharing my story, this challenge, this column with new women I meet. The response has all been supportive and how inspirational this movement is. Honestly, it’s getting harder to share the ups and downs, struggles and successes on a daily basis. Between the no shopping and exposing my personal life and thoughts, I’m raw and vulnerable. I believe that’s why you keep reading this column. Maybe you can relate in some way, just knowing you’re not alone if you’re thinking, feeling or going through something similar.
Don’t worry, I’m not quitting or giving up. I’m merely expressing how the road is getting tougher especially now that I’ve had a glimpse, a taste of being open for love again. The heart doesn’t always match up with the head. Maybe it never will but at least I’m living life and getting wiser (wink).
