Style Savvy: For this mellow day, I simplified my dressing by putting on a jumpsuit by SINGLE. This way I only had to think about my accessories which consisted of cat-eyed sunnies, an 80’s necklace (YES literally from the 80’s), snakeskin studded belt, Safi Miran structured handbag and ShoeMint ankle strap heels (they desperately need cleaning from wearing so much this year). What I love about this silk jumpsuit is the fit, the way it drapes on my body and the lace detail in the front, a perfect day to night piece. Try this with a moto jacket, tailored blazer or faux fur jacket to change up the style.

What’s Going On: My mom, who I’ve been staying with for the past 6 months left for a trip to Taiwan on Monday. I’m all alone. I thought I would enjoy it but it’s a little too quiet and I’m dog sitting her extremely high maintenance Chihuahua. I have a few days of down time which is not normal for me. I’ve been on the go that I forgot how to enjoy alone time at home. I spent the earlier part of my evening watching a few movies on Netflix – God Save My Shoes and Ultrasuede: In Search of Halston. Frankly, I can use the R-n-R especially with holiday events coming up and back to filming for The Romance reality show this weekend. That’s all I’ve got for today … now back to my movies, next up Scatter My Ashes at Bergdorfs.
