My Sam Edelman spiked pumps have just a bit of edge to spice up my outfit. Personal Style: Timeless-n-Edgy
Thoughts: At the end of the year I tend to reflect on what I’ve learned and how I’ve grown as a person. This year has been a huge year for me with change and growth. I’ve even surprised myself at how I continue to move forward with grace and dignity through the hard stuff. I managed to find the strength to keep an open heart for romance after my heartbreak and the courage to change the things I can in my life. When you can truly surrender everything, your heart, your mind, your ego, etc. – the whole world opens up and it’s remarkable.
I visited my my ex-husband this morning in my former home where he still resides (we had to finalize a few things). It looked somewhat the same but it felt different. We felt different, in a good way. I told him that I forgive him and what he did was really a gift. I genuinely mean that. Something shifted inside of me since Thanksgiving and all the reflection I’ve been doing. I’m truly grateful for everything that has happened this year the loss, the grief, the heartache, the successes, the change, the move to a new city, the self-love I’ve had to work on … everything!
