Outfit Purpose: New Year’s Day
Style Savvy: On the days when I’m super mellow, I don’t want to think too much about my outfit. That’s why I have those “go to” pairings I know look stylishly comfy for strolling around town doing whatever. Denim is a staple for us Cali Girls hence my J. Crew denim shirt with my Zara black denim jeans, Steve Madden boots and fedora straw hat to keep the sun off my face. Optional accessory … borrow your sister’s dog like I did for the extra cute factor.

What’s Going On: Okay … here it goes … it is now officially 2014 and tomorrow will be 6 months of doing this no shopping fashion challenge. Also to ring in the new year, I have a new man in my life. Yes, we are smitten with each and that’s all I can let on for now.
Also, I’ve been transposing my blog posts during this challenge into book format which fills in all the gaps to those who might think I’m leaving out details. The working title is How Fashion Saved My Life: 365 Days of Shopping My Closet.
