Mood: Mellow
Weather: Sunny, warmish, chillier at night
Outfit Purpose: Sunday Strolling
Style Savvy: I’ve received style requests on my YouTube channel asking to show more graphic or band t-shirt pairings. So, today I dug around my drawers to find some oldies and voila, a rare tee from 1993. This t-shirt is from a concert that opened with L7 (all girl punk band), House of Pain and headliner The Beastie Boys. And YES, I did attend this concert. Betcha trying to guess my age? Good luck with that (wink). With this outfit I paired a few classic feminine pieces to balance the t-shirt – a black pencil skirt to a leopard cardigan and bright yellow high heels. I’m Wearing | BCBG Max Azria cardigan, Zara skirt, Clare Vivier leopard clutch, Miriam Jewels bracelets, Timex watch, vintage Cartier necklace & bangle, Prabal Gurung for Target heels
Personal Style: Rocker Chic
What’s Going On: I experienced a true romance for a little over one month. Although it ended, I believe it was a gift. I’m also open to exploring this relationship or reconnecting again if the opportunity arises. This man showed me what it’s like to be swept off my feet and treated the way I’ve always dreamed of. He was a true gentleman. A man of heart, character, intelligence, love and excellence. I did fall in love and still love him. Yes, I’m hurting. Yes, I’m sad. Yes, I miss him. But for some reason I don’t feel crushed, I feel blessed and grateful. I remain hopeful. With matters of the heart it’s risky and scary because there’s no guarantee but not experiencing the other side of it … the joy, the stomach flips, the anticipation, laughs, loving, giving, etc. would be worse than not taking the risk. I’m still all in whenever it comes, so bring it on.
