Style Savvy: I know, I’m cheating today. Not much style going on here BUT there is a point. Ladies, please invest in some undergarments especially when you plan on wearing a fitted dress. It doesn’t matter what shape or size you are, it makes for a clean body line. And if you feel like you can’t breathe, then get one size up. Nude is always the color I use and the brands I like are Spanx and The Shemie. Keeping myself somewhat covered today, I threw on my Punk Royal netted hooded sweatshirt.
Personal Style: Lazy Days
What’s Going On: It’s Sunday. It’s cloudy. I’m feeling lazy so I stayed in all day. I never ventured out. I caught up on reading, did a little research online, played with my kitties and did some laundry. Yes, I do have days like this which I love! Tomorrow, Monday, will kick off another few weeks of back-to-back full days of work, projects, press, events, filming, etc. I do feel lighter and confident today as oppose to yesterday (read HERE).
Diane Von Furstenberg one of my style icons once said, “Confidence. If you have it, you can make anything look good.” I second that. Some of the pieces I receive the most compliments are items that were the least expensive. It’s because I buy items I absolutely love and feel confident wearing. So, when you’re shopping and unsure of a purchase, then don’t buy it. Buy something that will make you smile, walk taller and exude your inner confidence.
