Mood: On-the-fence
Weather: Sunny and cooler than it’s been
Outfit Purpose: Stylist at Work / Out & About
Style Savvy: Somedays I feel ultra feminine and my outfit will reflect it. Like today. Since I’m not strolling the streets in a European city, I can at least dress the part! Hence my SINGLE vintage lace top, flared sheer chiffon skirt, Sole Society pumps and Clare Vivier leopard clutch.
Personal Style: Italian Chic
What’s Going On: Tonight I was surrounded by an amazing group of women and they were dropping some major wisdom. I couldn’t get enough. As you might have read (HERE & HERE) the past couple of days I’ve been feeling down, but the ladies tonight couldn’t tell because as soon as I saw them, a huge smile grew on my face and I felt giddy inside. A couple of the women said that I looked really happy and asked what’s been going on? I relayed quite the opposite. I hadn’t seen them in two weeks, so I briefly filled them in on my happenings. I received some great advice and suggestions. I also got to look at my part, what I’ve learned in recent situations and to choose acceptance or remain uncomfortable. I admit to having a restless and overactive mind. It can tell me stories that aren’t true. Thank god I have a massive and loving support system and tools to work through the rough patches when they crop up. It’s progress not perfection, ya know.

Music and lyrics are a big part of my life (my first husband was a musician and still is) and I was a dancer growing up. “Say something” sums up where my train of thought has been these past few weeks. I posted the video because my MP3 player for this blog isn’t working.
