Style Savvy: I actually had a super cute skirt on today for a luncheon in Westwood but had to change into my Paige denim jeans because it was too windy and cold. I’m dressing up my jeans with a lace detailed top by SINGLE, my FAVE coat by Maison Scotch and of course a stylish pair of heels.
Today’s photos I was going for a gritty snapshot approach at night and had to use my iPhone. I think we pulled it off.

What’s Going On: In reflection mode. Having another life growth spurt and feeling the growing pains. I’m really divorced. As I shared my story during a luncheon today with a group of lovely, strong and inspiring ladies, it sunk in. I’m divorced and living in San Diego. This is my life right now. This is my reality and it’s okay.
I was reminded over dinner by one of my dearest women in my life (who also stood in as my photog tonight) how lucky I am to spend time with my mom, sister and nephew while living in San Diego. I’m laughing right now because when I was a teenager I always wanted to run away from home. I actually did a few times. I was so dramatic and rebellious. Now that I’m a grown woman, I have retreated back home. Although San Diego wasn’t a place I grew up, my family resides there. Home is where the love is.
