Outfit Purpose: Out & About
Style Savvy: This outfit works because I have 2 solid color pieces (Joie army green military jacket & PAIGE jeans) to ground my wild leopard print H&M shirt and overly studded Zara ankle booties. Many of my personal style clients ask me if there is a rule they can follow for mixing prints and textures. The safest bet is too stay within the same color family and have one solid color item to anchor your outfit. That doesn’t necessarily mean a garment piece. It could be an accessory like a belt, handbag, scarf, shoe or hat that is the solid color item.

What’s Going On: I think I caught a little bug going around. My body is achy and I’m super exhausted with a tinge of a scratchy throat. Today was slow going but I managed to cross off most of my “to do’s” on my list. At least I’m starting to find humor with some of my self-realizations. Here’s an example: If I’m avoiding myself and not wanting a relationship with me, then why would I expect a man to want a relationship with me? Duh! I can finally look at myself from afar and say, “She’s pretty but has a lot of red flags. She would be fun but that’s about it.” OUCH! If I don’t want to date myself, then I’m pretty sure the men are thinking the same. LOL! I’m okay with this for now. I know I need to get solid with myself before dating again. And how ironic I’m on a reality show called The Romance. Go figure!

Actually a guy will look at you from afar and and think “why is that crazy bitch in front of my garage? did she just boil my bunny?” I can’t believe my wife reads this blog.
