Outfit Purpose: Work Day
Style Savvy: I love styling new office/work attire alternatives for warm weather days. I paired my navy silk Prêt à Porter Designs shorts with a Gap ribbed tank, DVF blazer and Derek Lam heels. To make this outfit more interesting with texture and depth, I added a studded snakeskin pattern belt and lots of arm candy and a few rose gold necklaces (Wrenn Jewelry).
Personal Style: Career Chic
What’s Going On: I thought I was invincible from the cold and flu season but I finally got zapped. I usually try to power through being sick and ignore that I am but that wasn’t possible today. I don’t do sick and idle time well. I barely had enough energy to do this blog post tonight. I need to rest up as much as possible because my schedule this week includes a few events and filming for the reality show The Romance that I’m on. Unfortunately I can’t reschedule these things.
