Style Savvy: I’m a maxi dress and maxi skirt gal. I think most ladies on the West coast gravitate to these two wardrobe pieces but have many variations. It’s the sunny weather, what can I say? Um hello…it’s not even technically Spring, yet today was in the 80’s. If I were on vacay at a resort going to dinner, this is how I would style my outfit (pictured above & below). Don’t be afraid to accessorize. Savvy Style Tip: jewelry pairing can get tricky just remember to balance. So if you’re wearing big dangling earrings, go for a dainty or no necklace but rock some armswag and a big cocktail ring or a few midi rings. Same goes if you’re wearing a statement necklace, wear small or no earrings. Get it?
Personal Style: Resort Chic
What’s Going On: In L.A. for a few days. That’s it. Bye! Kidding. I had a long day and the drive was tiring but worth it when I got here. A few nights ago, I set some boundaries for myself but didn’t keep to one the following day. I had a slip. A relaspe. It’s okay. I’m starting over today and it’s no big deal. I’m not going to beat myself up over something that I can always start over. I finally let go of the metaphorical stick that I’ve been beating myself up with. It feels good. I know this all doesn’t make any sense to you because I’m leaving out some major details but read my book when it gets published, it will explain a lot of my ramblings that sound like this one.
