Outfit Purpose: Stylist at Work
Style Savvy: Showing off my sartorial juxtaposing with a classic pencil skirt, graphic tank and moto jacket. I like the unexpected when styling myself and fashion editorials. I do push my clients to try it, some are game, some are not. Color blocking is still on trend for Resort and Spring. Black and white combos and royal/cobalt blue are colors you’ll see a lot of during this season as well. I don’t care what age you are, a moto jacket is timeless in my style book.
Personal Style: Savvynista Style
What’s Going On: I’m riding on a pink cloud these days. It’s because I’m making myself happy all on my own. It’s a newish action, since I have a tendency to reach for people, places and things to give me a quick fix, to fill a void or temporarily make me feel better. But when these things are gone or I’ve “used” them up, I’m still left with myself and the empty spots. It’s all about progress rather than perfection. At least I’m aware and willing to change the way I approach things. I have a new task to try tonight to help me sleep better and turn off my brain. I can’t wait to try it out!
