Mood: Playful
Weather: Cloudy, some sun, light showers, chilly
Outfit Purpose: Out & About
Style Savvy: Have fun this spring/summer with pops of color and color blocking. Believe it or not, neon colors are still holding rank on the color charts for apparel this year. To keep my outfit playful, functional and chic, I paired my oh-so fave J. Brand boyfriend jeans. I’m wearing two key pieces every woman should have in her wardrobe: 1) white blazer and 2) boyfriend jeans. If your normal size seems too baggy, since boyfriend jeans are made to be…buy a size smaller.
Personal Style: SoCal Street Style
What’s Going On: The other day I ingested a bunch of empty calories and by dinner time I could feel it. I felt empty and basically wasted money and stomach space. I needed to eat something substantial to feel balanced and whole. This got me thinking about what I do in life on a daily basis. Am I consuming empty calories with my daily activities, career, etc? Are my days filling me up spiritually, emotionally, mentally, physically? I was reflecting on a few nights “out” on-the-town, going from one place to another with no real agenda. It hit me that I had an empty calorie night out. It wasn’t fulfilling and I basically wasted hours of my night from getting ready, to the drive, the night events and a good outfit. At this point in my life quality is key and that means all areas of my life from people to activities to items I purchase and fashion.
