Mood: Rested
Weather: Sunny San Diego Saturday
Outfit Purpose: Weekend Kickin’
Style Savvy: I’m in love with the juxtaposition of a boyfriend shirt in a feminine pastel color. I own several styles of boyfriend button up shirts, but I’ve been wearing my oversized AZUL by Moussy USA shirt repeatedly. In keeping with my laid back SoCal boho street vibe, I paired my cut-off white denim shorts, braided leather belt, wide-brimmed felt hat and caged ShoeMint high heels. Finishing touches include layering necklaces and bracelets and leopard print lucite oversized hoop earrings. I’m wearing 3 staple pieces every woman in SoCal (at least) should have in her closet: boyfriend button shirt, denim shorts and braided leather belt.
Personal Style: Boho Street Style
What’s Going On: I started to write another chapter to my book today based off this challenge/column and with each chapter I start with a lesson I learned. You know that saying, “Good things come to those who wait” … well I don’t necessarily agree with that statement. I believe it comes with patience, perseverance, doing good deeds and letting go of fears. That is the lesson I elaborated on today. Without all those elements I don’t think I would have “good things” happening in my life today. I guess you can also call it karma, law of attraction, luck, prayer, etc. The more I share about my experience, strength and hope publicly, the more I’m able to help another person. Just by sharing. Inspiring others is one of the main reasons I’m able to keep going with my 365 days of shopping my closet. Thanks for your support!
