Style Savvy: I’ve been scouting out the stores lately to see what’s happening on the consumer front of fast fashion. I’ve noticed a lot of popular chains putting out music festival (mainly Coachella) wear. From Urban Outfitters to Anthropologie, there’s all levels of boho chic and price points in fashion. I know I said I wasn’t going to Coachella but I am attending a few Coachella fashion events this weekend in Palm Springs. I’ll probably wear this fringed wrap but styled differently.
Personal Style: Coachella Chic
What’s Going On: Sometimes it takes hearing or reading another person’s story to remind myself of why I approach life, career and business the way I do. I’ve always been a Macintosh girl and revisiting the story of how Apple Computer started with the creative genius of Steve Jobs and Steve Wolzniak reminded me of why I’m doing what I’m doing. I’m inspired yet again. Do what you love, what you’re passionate about, what you believe in – even if it has to be a hobby or side project, do it anyway and see what blossoms. The only regret is to never have tried.
I love this quote by Steve Jobs, “Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking. Don’t settle. As with all matters of the heart, you’ll know when you find it.”
