Style Savvy: And you thought maybe, just maybe I was done featuring Coachella garb. Well…I thought I was too until I received this suede fringed vest and skirt from the Forever 21 VIP gifting suite at Coachella. Free swag! So of course I wanted to feature these pieces while it’s still the first weekend of Coachella. I promise I won’t do anymore festival gear until next year. As you can see by my outfit today, you can rock an updated boho look while keeping it chic.

What’s Going On: Feeling settled and in acceptance today. It appears that another chapter of my life this year has come to an end and now a new one begins. I was reminded of serendipity today. I’ve always loved that word and it’s meaning. I do believe everything happens for a reason. I know most people say this when they’re going through hard times to ease the pain but I really believe that there is a purpose to every action that we aren’t in control of. And the same goes with people in our lives. Everyone coming, going, staying in my life is a teacher to me. I learn so much of who I am in my relationships with people, one could describe it as serendipitous.
