Style Savvy: My typical uniform is a variation of what I’m wearing today. Usually I would wear a pair of jeans and high heels with my graphic/band tee and blazer. Since today was pretty toasty warm, I opted for silk shorts and my DIY glitter Converse kicks. And the pièce de résistance – my vintage gold medallion Chanel earrings. Might as well go for the gold with this outfit (wink).

What’s Going On: I must confess, I’ve been taking heed on astrology readings especially for the month of April. I used to be a big astrology reader/believer in my 20’s but over the years just lost sight of it. For some odd reason I’m on the astrology train again. This month there’s many interesting things going on with the planets that rarely happen. I’m also sensitive to energy and feel a lot of major shifts, not just within myself but the people around me. I know what you’re thinking, “Wow, I had no clue Maria was this crystal carrying, tarot card reading, spirit whisperer, sun worshipper person.” WELLLL…I’m not. I’m simply sensitive to certain energy, especially with people and animals and I’m reading astrology this month. And I like what I’m reading and witnessing. That’s all folks.
