Style Savvy: Mixing prints and texture with sequins and a little zipper action. With this outfit, my go-to jeans would normally be dark denim boyfriend cut. Since I always gravitate towards that, I dug through my closet to find another alternative. It’s almost easier for me to get creative and think outside-the-box when it comes to styling on a job or project. When it comes to dressing myself, I can get lazy but this Shop My Closet Challenge doesn’t allow me to slack off too much. I’m wearing | Old Navy top, Zara sequin jacket, PAIGE jeans, Derek Lam high heels.

What’s Going On: I reposted this quote on my Facebook page today that resonated with me, “Stop being afraid of what could go wrong and think of what could go right.” In business I’m all about this saying. I take risks and leaps of faith all the time. Somehow I’m fearless in that regard. It’s in my personal life where I’m not so sure at times. I’m trying hard to be present and not jump into the future. Some days I’m completely living in the moment and enjoying every second. Other days, I might have the case of the “what if’s” which can be paralyzing. Today I chose to live in the moment, smile, laugh, be silly, be open, enjoy my night and the person I was with.
