What’s Going On: Because I work as a freelancer, I have to take jobs and projects as they come. On the days or weeks when I see a break, I try to catch up on odds and ends but then I need to carve out time to just be. Meaning, to chill out, breathe in fresh air, appreciate my surroundings, spend time with family and friends and also spend time with myself. It’s recharging my battery and then I’m good to go again. The hard part is to just be still. I feel like if I’m not being productive then I’m being lazy but that’s bananas. Taking contrary action is what I’m doing for today.
