Style Savvy: This is my new favorite skirt since it was a gift from my boyfriend. I wore it last week on Day 324 HERE with a crop top, both by Bisou Bisou from JCP. I know, still can’t believe I’m rocking the JCP but I dig their merchandise these days. Who knows, maybe I’ll be able to style for JCP. I would love that gig! Today I decided to pair my infamous Little White Tank (worn HERE, HERE, and HERE) with my skirt along with my PAIGE denim jacket and Jeffrey Campbell blue suede heels.

What’s Going On: I get easily distracted sometimes when I’m writing this blog column. I switch back-n-forth from Facebook to emails to perusing online shopping sites. I made the mistake of looking at Intermix online a few minutes ago. I’m dying over their merchandise right now. Honestly I die all the time for anything at Intermix. I LOVE that store! I’m totally jonesing to buy something. I REALLY, REALLY want to buy a pair of shoes or a piece of jewelry. I’m 33 days away from not shopping ANY fashion for an ENTIRE year! Sigh…deep breath in…and exhale. I’m okay now. I’m not going to fall off the wagon.
I’ve had a few recurring questions/comments throughout this challenge and one of them came up tonight. A women heard my story about this challenge and she said, “You must be saving a lot of money since you’re not shopping.” One would think I am but I’ve been surviving off a very small budget every month which goes to my expenses, so the answer is no, not really. At least I’m not going into debt. All the work I’ve been generating this past year hasn’t brought home a ton of bacon because I started from scratch since I moved to a new city. It takes time and patience to build a brand/business but boy is it hard to have patience some days. Especially when you’re putting in so much work and waiting for the big pay off. I know my day will come soon.
