Style Savvy: Maxi-ing it up in my SINGLE maxi dress, a definite staple for us SoCal gals. Actually a staple for any women who lives close to the beach or in warmer climates. There are so many great styles and prints to choose from these days. Savvy Style Tip: If the maxi dress is too long but you love everything about it, get it hemmed. Don’t let it detour you from wearing something you know you’ll wear all the time.

What’s Going On: Yes disappointed because I thought I was bouncing back from my infection after being on antibiotics but guess a little naive in that one doesn’t just bounce back after 1 1/2 days off something that zaps your immune system. I literally had to pull off the road today because I got sick. Not pretty and definitely not stylish.
I need to learn to slow down, sit still and let my body rest. I feel this is the universe telling me to just be for now. Meaning really be in the moment and stop trying “to do” everything and force things to happen.
