Mood: Productive & Reflective
Weather: Getting warmer in San Diego
Outfit Purpose: Working from Home
Style Savvy: When I work from home all day, I usually don’t like to get super made up. I’ll do light makeup, a few sprays of dry shampoo and an outfit that looks stylish enough if I have to run out for a few errands. I’m in my fave J. Brand boyfriend jeans paired with a Pucci-esque printed top by Elie Tahari. Sunglasses are your best friend if you don’t feel like fussing with eye makeup, like me today.
Personal Style: Casually Chic
What’s Going On: Okay fessing up about a few things which I might have mentioned before…I typically photograph more than one outfit in a day that way I can still post and write this blog daily without disrupting my schedule. There have been many times throughout this year where I did guerrilla style my photo shoots daily if I couldn’t coordinate a day to shoot a week’s worth. BUT during this last month of my challenge, I’m actually snapping pics everyday while shooting a quick outfit video as well. This is adding another layer of “challenge” to this challenge. I know, I must be nuts.
My reflective mood has been raised to 6 inch platform heels lately. It’s because I’m lining up my publicity to talk about “why” I started this insane challenge and what I’ve learned through this whole process. It’s hard to chat about the earlier months but I have to in order to explain this challenge. I feel so far from the “why” but I’m not because I still get emotional about it. I’ve done so much to turn my life around and be happy in a short amount of time which shows that if you really want something badly, you can make it happen. It’s having a mix of hope, acceptance, letting go and a leap of faith but it has to come from within you. For me, I got sick and tired of being sick and tired.
