Style Savvy: Jeans have come a long way but some days I just love throwing on my deconstructed boyfriend jeans by J. Brand (worn on Day 10 here and Day 30 here). They almost remind me of the 90’s grunge days of torn/ripped used Levi’s that were all the rage. I use to sell those particular Levi’s in my vintage shop in the 90’s and could barely keep them in stock. To make my boyfriend jeans more femme, I paired my Single by Galina Sobolev snakeskin printed peplum top and Prada wedges (worn on Day 20 here). I kept my accessories somewhat minimal with a few bangles, classic Timex watch and tortoise shell necklace from Banana Republic.

What’s Going On With Me: It hit me today that I’m an “all in” woman. What I mean is that if I’m going to make a commitment to do something, I’m all in. Granted I am cautious and observant but then I leave the rest up to faith and the feeling in my gut. This goes with everything in my life from exploring new business opportunities to exploring a new relationship with someone … I’m all in. Yes, sometimes there is disappointment, heartache, upset, etc. but that’s the risk you take to fully be present, live in the moment and be all in. I want to experience and absorb every piece of whatever I’m doing. I believe that’s called living.

Thoughts: Faith means that you have peace even when you don’t have all the answers. One of my besties shared this on her Facebook page tonight and it really suits where I’m at today. I used to be all about knowing the outcome or the answers. I had to know everything before it happened which lead me to astrology, palm readers, psychics, tarot card readers, you name it I was trying to get the answers. Basically I was spinning out of control, burning up energy, and definitely not living in the moment. Thank goodness I have faith and trust in a higher power today so I can live in serenity, most of  the time (wink).
