Mood: Ecstatic
Weather: Sunny, warmer
Outfit Purpose: Stylist at Work / Out & About
Style Savvy: This year has been about interesting prints and graphics with fashion, like my SINGLE flared skirt I’m wearing today. I wanted to sex this skirt up a bit so I paired my DVF silk lace cami, Karen Millen blazer and Prabal Gurung for Target heels. I was in the mood to layer jewelry hence the double necklaces, earrings (which I don’t always wear) and lots ‘o bangle arm candy action. Savvy Style Tip: You can still wear white after Labor Day ladies! There is no rule with white anymore. The only rule that applies is the fabric. Wear seasonal fabrics like linen for spring/summer and wools and most cashmere for fall/winter.
Personal Style: Flirty Chic
Thoughts: Be careful what you ask for because you just might get it. This has been proven to me over and over. I’ve been wanting to get in front of the camera more to talk about being savvy with your style and now that time has presented itself. I’m pretty comfy on-camera because I do film my YouTube videos but last night while trying to fall asleep to be at the news station early in the morning, I felt nauseous. My stomach was grinding and I thought, “Oh crap … I hope I’m not like this in the morning while filming live.” Thank goodness my nerves subsided when I got to the news station and saw all my lovely models in the outfits I put together for each one.
Although I didn’t get much sleep, I was running on adrenaline and caffeine. I have to thank a few of my friends (new & old) for having my back and helping me out. I asked for what I wanted and put it out there in the universe and boom … it happened. Stay positive, stay motivated, don’t let others tell you differently. If you feel it in your bones, in your gut, in your soul … then don’t deny yourself of what you want to achieve.
